Reviews from clients and what exactly it's like to work with me.
From the onset we noticed Zelda’s warmth and professionalism. We love how she communicated with us, gave us tons of advice for our engagement shoot and wedding planning, and made us feel assured we were in perfect hands. On our wedding day she was unobtrusive and helped us and our wedding party feel comfortable in front of the camera. She went above and beyond and we thoroughly enjoyed working with her. Our photo’s are awesome!
We booked Zelda as our wedding photographer after having
a fantastic engagement session experience with her. She produced the most beautiful photographs and her calm and friendly personality made her a dream to work with!
We were so grateful to have Zelda as our photographer! She is a professional from start to finish. A lovely attitude, and beautiful, personal photos that captured the heart of what our day was all about. We had a lot of fun and I can’t thank her enough, we would thoroughly recommend her.
We’ll meet over a phone call or Zoom to chat more about your vision for the day and ensure we're a great fit.
A signed contract and 20% retainer will secure your date in my calendar.
I'll work with you and your planner to create the perfect timeline with lighting in mind to ensure your wildest dreams will come true and that I know which things are most important to you about your day. (All of them, I know!)
If you choose to have one, we'll select a beautiful location that's meaningful to you and create something magical to mark this special chapter in your lives.
I'll be there every step of the way to make sure the moments that matter are captured, with an assistant shooter if necessary so you can be fully present in the moment enjoying your day.
In technical terms I’m a hybrid photographer, which means I shoot both! Though film is my preferred medium, I select the right tool for each situation based on available light throughout the day.
There are so many reasons why I love and shoot film but the main one is timelessness. The softness of film creates flattering skin tones and captures colour the way it looks in real life – far more accurately than digital can and therefore it will never go out of style. There are so many reasons that I decided to write a blog post about it, you can read it here. Plus, there’s no better sound than a film camera as it loads film and takes a shot!
Absolutely!
You bet! I love to travel anywhere I can capture beautiful-souled people having the time of their lives. From intimate ceremonies on a cliff top to large celebrations on an estate, I love capturing it all.
Absolutely. I am happy to tailor any collection for you to suit your exact needs. If you would prefer different print products in your package please just ask and I will follow up with a quote for your review.
A 20% retainer and signed photography contract will secure your date in my calendar, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your wedding date.
You can typically expect 60-80 images per hour of coverage. The final images delivered all receive professional editing before they are presented in your online gallery or printed.
3 to 4 weeks for engagement or portrait sessions and 6 to 8 weeks for weddings. For weddings I will also send you a sneak peek gallery a few days afterwards.
This depends on the scale of your wedding. For weddings of more than 80 guests it is necessary to work with a second photographer. Throughout the day, he or she will act as an assistant during crucial moments such as groom prep, the ceremony and the reception.
If an album is included you will receive a first draft 3 to 4 weeks after receiving your online gallery. I custom design and layout your album draft to best narrate your wedding story. You will have the opportunity to make revisions which may include swapping images, removing spreads, or adding spreads. Once you have approved your final draft layout, I edit the images for the final time and send you a PDF for approval before proceeding to production.
